Meet The Instructors
Anthony Rhodes
Anthony Rhodes a native of Camden, New Jersey started his dance training at the age of 14. He is a 2005 graduate of the Creative & Performing Arts High School, where he majored in dance. He continued his dance training at various institutes such as Halliday Dance, Philadanco (Training Company), DCNS (summer intensive program), Grace Dance Theater and Eleone Dance Theater. As a result of Dara Stevens-Meredith and Laceda Nelson's guidance Anthony was accepted into Eleone Connection in 2005. He is currently a principal dancer and assistant rehearsal director of Eleone Dance Theater. Anthony is a 2005 NAACP ACT-SO Silver Medalist for dance. His choreography was featured in the 2008 Philadelphia Film Festival, as well as the 2007 production of " For Colored Girls........" at The Walt Whitman Center for Performing Arts. Tony (as he likes to be called) is currently the Artistic Director and Co-founder of Reveal Movement -a dance and performing arts group geared toward the empowerment of youth.
Camille Gamble
Camille Gamble is a young artist and choreographer full of passion for the arts. A recent Temple University graduate, she has a BFA in Dance Performance and Choreography with a minor in Psychology. Upon graduation Camille continues to train and perform throughout the Philadelphia area. She has worked with artists such as Dr. Kariamu Welsh (Kariamu and Company) and Keila Cordova (3 Pony Show/keila cordova dances). Camille also loves to choreograph herself and constantly pushes herself to better her work and provoke emotion out of her movement. Her work has been featured in numerous shows at Temple University; along with being featured in shows outside of Temple, such as the ETC Performance Series and IDA's Black Box Showcase. Camille will be co-producing a collaborative dance/photography show in April alongside photographer Terrell Halsey, titled the InterACTion Project.
LadyE
LadyE is a mover and artist in the Philadelphia area originally from Allentown, Pennsylvania. She is a dancer, choreographer and freelance photographer who loves a new challenge. She is currently a senior at Temple University studying Psychology and African American Studies. She is also a member of Dare to Dance: The Company and dreams of using her artistic gifts as a way to create change in her community. LadyE has been dancing for her entire life, training in modern, contemporary, and street dance styles. Her movement is a product of all that she has learned and who she has learned from. She hopes to travel the world and further her learning experience in dance and the arts.
